after epsteins death you can tell paul became a bully even if he didnt realise it. the best thing to come out of it was harrison's all things must pass (a masterpiece) and the plastic ono band album (also great).

but without this s**t storm Abbey Road would never have happened and for me that is their legacy, a pop band's masterpiece, clearly their best album, probably knowing it was a death rattle. Knowing it was all worth it in the end, it's an odd feeling.

The whole doc is so intense, it's like you're sitting next to them. but it's the length and the understanding of that which makes it special. It's 8 hours but it couldve been longer and i wouldnt have complained if it was.

Abbey road must be possibly the best album ever written by anyone but certainly by them. and it came from this.
