Just back. Pretty encouraging albeit frustrating we couldn’t nab the win

Important when you are in and indeed edge games at this level to capitalise and I feel that was there for us today. I keep reliving Pukki’s late chance and wishing he’d made more substantial contact with it. Or wishing Normann was still there to finish one of those edge of the box situations that kept falling to Rupp.

But all in all very encouraged. We have improved considerably in the space of two weeks in my view. More direct, more purposeful and other than an iffy 10 minutes early on when nobody seemed to know who to mark and a couple of trademark Hanley/Krul moments looked quite defensively sound also.

Rashica excellent. Gilmour too. But I’d actually have given MOTM to Kenny today for an immense effort.
