I feel you’re gonna be disappointed

The film it puts me in mind of is Yanks. Anyone seen it?

It is set Up North in the war. Northern lass Jean is going out with salt of the Earth yeoman type Ken (Deansmith) played by Charlie Fairhood off of Casualty. Everyone likes him. He’s a steady, non-flashy type. But Jean’s heart is captured by the Glamorous Yank soldier Matt (Daniel 💕) played by Richard Gere.

Just like on the Roth, her family and friends are a little disappointed or surprised by her choice, but there you go, Can one ever choose where our hearts lead us?
