who've always seemed to me to love medicalising things, at the same time seem to be v truculent about taking these vaccines - I think in some places it's a reluctance to do as told, in some it's a reluctance to do as told by governments (where the state is historically untrustworthy), in others it's a fear of smart men in white coats brandishing syringes, or a bit of eastern european machismo. And to some extent, in some places, to do with mad interweb theories.
