Well, I, for one, had a beautiful day in the fine city (Farke-In'r comments after today)

It was a strange feeling coming up to Carrow Road today. I was one of those who firmly felt Farke shouldn't have been sacked but had also felt the anticipation and excitement of a new manager in the days leading up to the weekend.

I didn't feel Cantwell had earned the right to be in the squad, and Farke's dismissal didn't seem like a good enough reason for things to be different. Large parts of the first half were total frustration at his inclusion. He looked totally out of it, busting his lungs for a breath and failing to meet his man. When he had possession, he lost it instantly. I wouldn't be surprised if we never see him in a yellow shirt again and can't help but feel the championship calls for him in January.

The second half was a breath of fresh air, and that's where it changed for me. Would Farke have made those changes at half-time? Likely not! My biggest frustration with Farke was the stubbornness and inability to make subs/changes before the 75th minute. Sargeant was brilliant, and the high press changed everything. Interesting that Rupp came on to provide strength and control in Gilmour's position.

Deano has inherited an excellent squad with real potential. I'm entirely behind him now, but I hope he takes a moment to acknowledge what a remarkable turn of fortune his appointment is. Farke was brilliant in many ways and has left him a promising blueprint.
