I started playing cricket again about 3 years ago after my son took up the sport. Hadn't picked up a bat for 20 years. Our club has zero tolerance of racism. We are a mixed race club (about 1/3 asian) which seems fairly normal in Essex. I often think that village cricket would be dead without asian immigration to the UK. It's not all bad news.
