Yes, agree

I actually think it would be a very bad thing for individuals to be singled out as racist in this case, and things explained away as just a few individuals. What needs to be pointed out and dealt with is the casual everyday prejudice, which is to your point about things that used to be acceptable and aren't anymore. Plenty of other examples out there, like the use of the word "gay" as an insult.

Progress has certainly been made, and actually on some issues quite a lot of progress in not that long a time. Plenty still to do though.
