To play Devil's Advocate, Wycombe were quite lucky to be promoted in the first place
Unless I am mistaken, they came up on the PPG basis and which was hugely influenced by their early season form. With the rate that they were picking up points when the season was curtailed due to COVID, they would have been lucky to make the P/Os had the season in fact come to a natural conclusion.
