If he was getting caught up in the "bantz" or whatever, and it was as institutionalised as it seems.
So I think Vaughan could have said that he had no recollection of saying those words, and not tried to discredit the people that say he did, and the people that of course would very clearly remember him saying it. His attempts to cover it up make it look worse in my opinion, he's becoming part of the problem rather than just perhaps being a symptom of it.
Vaughan may or may not be racist, definitely a see you next tuesday though.
