Stuart and Daniel have worked closely for years, you really think he recruited on his own?

You think they hadn't discussed an approach?

The jury is out in the recruitment. The only way to test it is to try someone else. It's the only way.

BUT what is clear is that Daniel was become both more entrenched (no picking certain players, relying on faves, hooking one player only to have the replacement make the same mistake).

In 4 years I'm not sure Farke has ever prevented the tide turning in a game. I've seen it in the matches I've watched and I've watched it play out in comments on here by people watching. Change something the tide is turning, make a sub, goal conceded. 2nd half Brentford a classic example, but played out masssively in Season 3. Blades, Wolves, went in up at half time, threw it away.

Farke had an excellent Plan A and belief in it in Season 2 and inspired out players to take us on a wild ride. Season 3 started out fun, injuries derailed it and COVID seemed to tune our squad out. It was bizarre what happened after. Season was incredible and there were early season jitters but behind closed doors we just had better players in more positions than almost every other teams.

This year we have none of the Season 2 identity and most of the players who drove it forward are gone (Onel, Vrancic, Stiepi, Buendia, Jamal, Godfrey). 3 we developed and sold for big bucks and 3 we've basically given away.
