First this isn't to slag anything done by Farke whose teams particularly in the first promotion season played the best football any of us will see played by a Norwich side I think.
But there are also things that we know we have never done well whilst he has been in charge. These include both attacking and defending set pieces. I never get the feeling we will score from a free kick on the edge of the box, and always suspect we will concede from corners (including our own on occasions). Our use of subs has been questionable and always seems 15 mins late, with the inevitable 3 and a half minutes for Idah to run around at the end.
So I am looking forward to us doing better at these. Dean Smith seems the right kind of bloke yo be a Norwich manager and as others have said, hope that when it is his time to leave, he leaves us too in a better state than when he arrived.
I will also miss everything Farke, but not the way we have surrendered in the prem since Dec 2019 with little more than a whimper. We might not be good enough to stay up, but we have improved our chances of doing so by making this change now, however painful it has felt for some. OTBC
