I would have been disappointed with Lampard. Absolutely not a ‘Norwich’ type of manager. He would have always been bigger than the club and would very clearly have used us as a stepping stone.

Smith ticks a lot of the boxes for me. Has had success in the two divisions we bounce between and plays with an expansive style that is good to watch.

Hopefully he can get this disparate group of talented players to gel.

KK was always an intriguing option but you have to admire his desire to complete the season with his current club. Maybe our paths will cross again in the future.
