The club hasn’t done a very good job of keeping a lid on things!

In any case though, whatever happens from now, a large portion of our fan base are going to assume, rightly or wrongly, that the new manager was at best, second choice (and that’s only if we appoint dean smith). The club has completely lost control of the narrative.
