I bought a bag last week after seeing them unexpectedly in a corner shop and found a quiet doorway in which to revisit my yoof and savour them.
Two bites in and I was confronted by a stale, dry falsehood which appalled my taste buds.
Had it not been for the availability of a can of blood orange Sanpellegrino my ability to enjoy food may have been lost forever.
Did I buy from an off batch or not?
