hard to say exactly, but I'd v likely have given him at least another 5 - see whether we built on Brentford and on the games since Burnley. The thing is that I see the losses/risks of getting rid as both significant (the good things we know about) and also somewhat unpredictable (eg you can't get the new manager you wanted) - and I'm far from convinced they're outweighed by the (entirely speculative) gains - eg it may simply be that we don't have the players. I'm not saying "never sack" - far from it - and I know that too late, and you're done for - I just don't think the time had come.
