Lampard has quite a few good things going for him

The style of play is attacking, with an aggressive press. 4-3-3 that switches to 4-2-3-1.

The criticism is his teams lose shape because they are too aggressive in their press (we scored quite a few against his side in the championship and Prem).

But, he is an intelligent guy, nothing to say he can’t improve.

Webber clearly wants someone that will utilise rashica, tzolis and Gilmour, Lampard fits that bill.

He doesn’t totally go against the grain from a football perspective, but he does a bit from a “big name” perspective, which as OG rightly said last night, is not the norwich way.
