My point is a simple one

He has little relevant experience, despite being 54. He manages a team in a very small league, in every material respect distant from the EPL. The football s different, the players are different, the crowds, the scale, the speed, the pressure, the money. I couldnt care less where he comes from. But to make that jump would be v difficult - a bit like coming from the Scottish 2nd division in fact, though not in every respect.
