You should keep using it with pride in your heart and defiance

in your soul.

I couldn't bear to throw away my 'Lambert, Pride of Anglia' one. It got banished to the very back of a cupboard. On rare occasions when we've had a lot of visitors it's had to make a reappearance. It then looks sad, faded and forgotten and no longer up to the job. (A perfect metaphor in fact).

Don't let that be the fate of your Daniel mug.
