I genuinely have no idea whether he's a "good" manager

Evidence on both sides.

- Didn't do THAT well at Derby, despite having the cream of Chelsea academy available to him. Not as well as Farke did that season anyway.
- Didn't do THAT well at Chelsea despite having the Chelsea first team available to him. At least Tuchel has taken Chelsea to a level far beyond what Frank could do.

But, arguable played a key role in developing some excellent young talent at Chelsea(?). Has certainly never done badly anywhere he's been(?). Only really seemed to struggle knowing how to get the very best out of absolutely top end elite players, something he is unlikely to have to worry about with us.

Tactically, would he be an upgrade on Farke? From a motivation would he be an upgrade on Farke? Would he make the club a more attractive prospect for new recruits than Farke? Would he be better at developing young players than Farke? I don't know the answer to any of those questions, but hopefully Webber does.
