So your basic argument is...

...that because our squad of last year was very likely a much stronger one than that managed by Knutsen it must mean that Knutsen isn't a good enough manager? Strange logic.

Knutsen has been managing since 1995. OK so it might not be Champions League level management but I would personally take that over someone who only has a couple of years experience and, while some of that experience was in the top flight, was only there because he had a name as a decent player!

Not saying Knutsen is perfect. Am I excited about the prospect? Not really. I don't even know much about him, to be honest. But that little I do know, for me, puts him out in front of a bunch of not so inspirational options.

So who would you pick?
