I've been much more deflated on plenty of occasions

- Relegation at Leeds in '95, when I cried

- O'Neill leaving, which just broke something inside me. And many others too as I recall

- Walker's sacking second time round: a bloody disgrace

- Fulham. OMFG

- Glenn Roeder's appointment. 'Crushing sense of despair'.

- Gunn being retained in May 2009. Which felt like the board taking the piss out of everyone; almost declaring war on the fans in some respects

- Lambert leaving

- Adams' appointment. Which wasn't even deflation. I just rolled my eyes, laughed, thought 'typical Norwich' and didn't have any mojo left.

- Chelsea this season. With me concluding "the model cannot work - so we're f**ked forever until we get new, much richer owners".

I'm not deflated about Daniel going - because I think we did everything we realistically could to give him the best shot. But then, I am someone who tends to think much more than feel... which makes me very weird, especially among football fans. Because football is an emotional, not a rational pursuit.
