It’s a shame that managers never/aren’t allowed to make statements afterwards

We could have put him on gardening leave and then if we did go down, bring him back in and get us promoted (again).

Very emotional indeed. It will go two ways from here; stay up and kick on or go down and then languish in mid-table in championship for the next few seasons.
