I agree with so much of this reply but even I began to

think his time had come but as said, what’s wrong with trying to appoint a manager who has an ethos like DF had? He brought a new consensus to the club based on respect for every aspect regardless of your role. I have no idea if he was a “nice fella”, never met him but that’s not the point.
