I have just tried to book a ticket via club website for Bournemouth game.
The deadline for ST holders was 09.00am on Monday 23 but I have been told that this is being brought forward to midnight TONIGHT. Apparently an email will be sent out later today.
This came to light as the ticket for my seat loaded into basket when I logged on. However I have a friend's ST linked to my account and that was loaded into basket as well, even though friend can't go and I could not remove his ticket. It turns out there is an IT glitch where the tick box to remove option isn't showing.
All this via on-line chat box, which took about an hour and a half, although initial wait time quoted as 17 mins!
I suspect the reason for bringing deadline forward is that it gives club more time to sell tickets where ST holders can't or don't want to go to the match. But wasn't this obvious from the outset, as Monday would not allow enough time tp post tickets out.
Not the ticketing office's finest hour.
