They seem better organised and in better spirits.

Dread to think how badly we'd have been tonked is ashwin had played.

I'm not particularly keen on our fixation with the ashes - if we'd prepared better for this series (and the NZ one) that would surely have helped get us in the right shape for the winter... If that actually happens.
