I was very nervous beforehand

Having been to the friendly I knew no one would be wearing masks. Felt OK in the seats though. Big queue to get in and the bag searches annoyed me as the guy was thoroughly checking them but no interest in the 90% of people with no mask. Other annoyance was being told to take the Hampshire Canaries flag down, because it covered a small part of the score section. Well it's been there for over 20 years and the scoreboard isn't new. Having everyone around us kick off on our behalf and stick up for us was great. The first OTBC was amazing, struggling to hold back the tears. Just wish we could have scored, would have been mental! Will be paranoid about any hint of a dodgy throat etc all week though!
