Draw is the best result on the 1st day. It's all psychological

1st day is like a friendly, it proves very little.
Players are not fit till game 2 or 3

Results, like the last day of the season are not a reflection on what's to come (unless you are horribly beaten)

A draw is a decent levelled, no one is down, no one over reacts and thinks they are great.

That's where Brentford are now, they'll say not, but secretly their fans will expect after last nights win
