how terrible we were last time, how (relatively) little we have spent, how we have sold our 'best' player and how our big success last season (Skipp) has not returned.

Objectively?
Our defence is worse than last time (Godfrey & Lewis are 'better' than Gibson & Dimi)
We have replaced a £30m creative midfielder with a £10m player, new to English football
Other signings are unproven & new to Eng football

None of us have much of an idea how we will get on, so why should any national journos?
