The big problem I have with Dowell

is that a Chemistry teacher at my old school was Mr Dowell and his nickname was Skippy. So my instinct is to say "Skippy" or even "Skippy Dowell". But that would confuse everyone who wasn't at Lynn Grove in Gorleston in the 70s or 80s, especially as Skippy is someone else entirely to most fans.

Really he should change his name to accomodate me. I haven't written to him yet but I should, I reckon.
