With Messi leaving Barca, Kane must be bricking it right now

With Man City having spent 100m on Grealish, and Messi available on a free, why would you spend 100m+ on Kane now. Messi will tie them over until Kane’s contract runs to nothing pretty much.

I think this is the moment his high stakes gamble backfires.
