Its not the be all and end all. I know several very good players in Youth football who've either rejected the PDC or never been offered a place. My eldest son rejected a place at a NCFC Suffolk PDC in Stradbroke years ago but plays at a good standard. Also don't think like some parents of PDC kids that the boy/girl will "make it" I think we all know that only about 1% of academy player actually "make it"
