Rupp alternative?

The way we play does need solid options across the midfield, from what I could see from highlights reels, he did look good on the ball with a decent pass.

He looked a very 'Farke' player - which I found encouraging.

As the boss also pointed out - you don't tend to be named captain if you're a bad character. Having those players across the pitch who take responsibility is going to be key this year.
