In hindsight I wish I could have drink more and started earlier

Has an important interview today so has to avoid a hangover. Really wanted to drink more afterwards to numb the pain. Interview went well today though and hangover avoided so wise choice.

In terms of the match yesterday, losing still hurts less than the semi finals of 90 and 96. Italy were consistently the strongest team in the comp and bar the first 20 mins last night were the better team. Yes Southgate should have changed things earlier but I can see why he continued to try and be solid - the problem was that when we regained the ball we kept losing it abd thid onciring more pressure. If we’d started eye second half more strongly and had more of the ball the result may have been different.
