Farke doesn't bother getting them in for hours to analyse the game, to see what worked and what didn't? Or if they lose to a good side, he just says, "Oh well, they really were jolly good, not much we can do about that"? Nobody is disputing that on one level "getting to the final" is A Good Thing, more than has been achieved for years - but that really isn't the point. Neither is hindsight. Many have said well before now and often - including on the wroth - that Southgate is too cautious, and many are saying that again today. Maybe right, maybe wrong, but it's not just hindsight.
