This is why it annoyed me so much when he kept picking Mount 18/24 months ago

Not because I don’t think Mount deserves to be in the squad (and sometimes team now) but because in that period after the World Cup we needed to find a slightly deeper lying creative midfielder and he kept picking Mount (who at that stage did not deserve it) in every game and not trying Grealish, Foden or Maddison when he had the chance to do so and try snd work out how to accommodate more creativity.
