I can’t say if the penalty takers were the wrong players full stop

They may well be the best penalty takers in the squad (although Rashford missed a couple against us).

What I do have an issue with is not getting them on earlier to play their way into the game a bit if you know you are going to ask them to take one. Those pens were basically their first touch.

Also anyone who has seen how Sako was okaying thinking he was the right person for that crucial pen is strange. Someone should have stepped in there.
