I agree with you but the last paragraph is

I therefore have serious doubts he can evolve the team kn that way because I just don’t think he knows how to do it.

Southgate is absolutely excellent at most elements of his job but unfortunately he has a Hughtonesque streak when it comes to selections, tactics and game management.

Feels worse this morning. Don’t think we will ever have a better opportunity in my lifetime with the way things opened up for us at this tournament.
