with the draws for each tournament (nothing wrong with that).
I'd also say that it's helped having the U21 manager step into the role as he seems to have a better working relationship with the players and has been able to manage the 'big names' better. He's been lucky with the forward options that have come through and he's engineered a solid midfield/defence which is crucial at this level.
He's a decent tournament manager - which is nifty in view of his job.
Would he/will he be a top level club manager? I'd have my doubts, and I think the frothing about his tactical genius is overplayed. His man management has looked very good.
He deserves a lot of kudos for his stint in charge.
