No national team full of talented players needs coaching in the traditional sense. They know what they're doing. They're exceptional footballers. It's why they're in the England squad.

It's 90% man management these days. Southgate has that to a tee. With Capello, for example, it was 90% coaching...and he coached the life out of them. Big Sam would have taken them backwards. Gareth has the balance right. Credit to Steve Round as well.
