I must say that Southgate the man (& as a man manager) has won me over - he conducts himself impeccably, and there's no doubt the players are happy and all feel part of the team, for which he must take great credit. Also, when all is said and done, he's got us to final, which many (well, all but one ..) have failed to do.

I would prefer if somehow we could incorporate more of Grealish and Foden - both looked v lively - but maybe it's difficult structurally. I wasn't sure that Saka, though I think he's a marvellous prospect, quite merited his place last night, in front of Sancho/Grealish/Foden. Foden looks like one of those players capable of operating at a rarefied level - all three are pretty formidable.
