on the subject of burgers

the bbq shack is progressing at a snails pace i am currently trying to put up the first post using 8mm masonry bolts that weirdly don't fit through the 6mm hole in the corner braces that arrived this morning. unberf**kinglievable. got to go to b and q now to buy an 8mm drill bit to drill the slots out so the bolts fit. what's that? "why don't you just swap the brackets out for ones with M8 slots?" that's a great idea dubbs, if only i'd have thought of it before i'd drilled and hammered in 16 masonry bolts 🤔 ffs
