you mean, scientists answering one question, politicians a different one?
what is the view of "the science" on the effect of restrictions x, y, z childrens' education, to take a simple example? Or of reduced income on life expectancy? Or quality of life? Or etc etc etc. They don't have a view, because it's not their job that's the job of elected politicians, not that they tend to do it very well.
