Luton want parachute payments removed

With the following teams Accrington, AFC Wimbledon, Cambridge and Lincoln in League One and Bristol Rovers, Carlisle, Leyton Orient, Newport and Tranmere in League Two.

I guess that few championship teams will support it as they will lose out if they get promoted and then relegated.

Clearly teams in 3rd and 4th divisions will want it as they would get extra money for nothing. especially those that are unlikely to get to the premier league in the short term
