for those who are concerned that Ukraine (world ranking 24th)

might beat England tonight ( world ranking 4th)

Since Sept 2020 they have been hammered by Spain and France 4-0 & 7-1 , beaten by Germany 2-1 & 3-1 also beaten by Poland & Switzerland

In 2021 they have drawn with the mighty Finland Kazakhstan and Bahrain and beat N Ireland and Cyprus

they finished 3rd in there group and beat a 10 man Sweden in extra time

on the plus side they have beaten Spain 1-0 and got a credible draw with France 1-1 and a narrow defeat to the Dutch 3-2 after being 2-0 down and drawing level 2-2

On paper England don't look like they have much to fear .. unfortunately the game is played on grass
