Just finished Likely Ladsing the Italy-Belgium game

Italy - a conundrum wrapped in an enigma.

So much to admire. Lovely, wonderful football. Flowing attack, a dynamic high press, risking it all time after time, never settling.

And yet that final 20 mins. My word. Naked cheating. So much time wasting and diving, the ref should have added on 15 minutes. Utterly embarrassing scenes. Shit housing taken to an extraordinary level.

They're going to take some beating for sure. And you can only pray for a stronger ref than tonight's, who didn't precisely zero about it.
