1974/5 Norwich didn't win a single league cup tie in 90 minutes but got to the final

Every round they drew the first match and won the second, whether the tie was scheduled as one or two legs.

Then we lost to Villa.

Another oddity, 3 of the semi-finalists were the 3 sides promoted from Division 2 that year.

For me that cup run is above the 59ers (before my time). It included Ipswich and Man U and I saw most of the home ties.
