Awwwww, heh too, that's fab. Really wish my Grandad was still around, he had..

an amazing life. Very sad in so many ways but, to him he won by having the name carry on. He had an amazing husky polish accent (the husky was down to him smoking 20 malboro reds a day) but he told us kids about the war. Sad at times, happy at others but he missed his mum and dad the same way as my dad missed him and I now miss my dad. The circle of life and all that I suppose. Think with him though, he had 4 brothers and 2 sisters, mum and dad the day he left Poland. Three years later, he had none. All killed. That to me is why I find it sad when idiots sing songs of war that they never ever ever understand. Grandad told us about bombing U-boats and it wasn't like the films, there was no great celebration, just relief they were still in the air. There are people on this board I have no doubt been in combat, not that they will say but I doubt they then go back celebrating it. Just find it all nasty and crude and thoughtless. Sing about peace I say and sing for more peace. I've had a bear and feeling a bit emotional and will sod off to bed. xx Soz, love you all. xx
