This is really cultural theft

I can’t believe that fans in this country will want to watch in sufficient numbers for this to be a domestic success. I certainly will never watch a game of this league even if it’s free, and likely it will be really expensive season/game passes.

But the founders probably don’t care. The global rights will probably be big enough for it to be profitable anyway, at least initially.

So in effect these 6 clubs are being stolen from this country, uprooted to set sail in bigger, more profitable global waters.

I think the only thing that stops this is the players/managers. Wonder how many will come out and say no thanks. Rashford presumably, plus how many more?
