The structure of the Champs league is awful

The European club cups have been awful for years.

I miss the European Cup, cup winners cup, uefa Cup.

As soon as it goes into mini league stages the chances of upsets (and interest to me as a neutral) is much diminished.

All has a whiff of the Packer cricket tour to me.

I hope they've overplayed their hand - with proper co-ordinated action I'd hope that all the signatories will be diminished by any reforms.

While there's short term cash there, I'm still far from convinced that the owners driving this through have any understanding of football - if it goes ahead I doubt it would be the cash cow they imagine.
