Bite their hands off! Feels like a generational opportunity to resolve football finance.

Let them go, cut off any and all funding. Make it clear that they would have to start at the bottom of the pyramid if they reincorporated.

The thing with American sports and their own specific top league is that the closed shop works because of the college system and the draft.

Every year the best new players in the country become available to select, usually by the worst teams. So in theory there is a churn of competitiveness. This wouldn't exist in the super league.

Arsenal have signed up, will become the whipping boys and promptly want to leave. These mega rich owners are chasing something that only exists through a league of opportunity. In a closed shop only 1 team has an opportunity to win. So the other 19 are losers.
